My guess is that you've got too much tension on that cable. Also, you may want to check that the mode adjuster is set correctly using the TL-FD68, which should have been included OE with the bike (or the FD, if aftermarket).3:The other contributing factor that comes to mind is a third-party crankset & BB. Even if the chainring locations are a little bit different vis-a-vis a Shimano crankset & BB, the FD should have enough accomodation to not rub the chain on the outer ring.</blockquote>
