A narrower SRAM or the superlative Campy R11 chain does not work BUT, HOWEVER, a normal flywheel works beautifully as guide. This derailleur does not resolve the chain and cassette issue. HOWEVER, with a SRAM Hyperglide cassette, Campy chain and NORMAL flywheel as guide, this system is better than any SRAM and on par with the best Campy feel. Full Shimano does not register on this quality level. Presently, this assemble has me with a Campy r11 chain, 4,000 flawless elite kms at 45% chain life.

[QUOTE="oldschool, post: 6226236, member: 11873"] Vi segnalo questa recensione del cambio R9100 che credo possa essere estesa al R8000...forse la causa della rumorosità. Pro:stiffness Contro:does not work with shimano chain, does not work with campy sram unless flywheel swap Interessi:Road - Racer, Run - Road Shimano redid this derailleur as feedback from the mediocre 9000/9100. These were known to have a lag in the cassette's middle section, especially- dominantly- when downshifting 19-18-lag-17-lag-16 etc. By making this stiffer, they are addressing some of those issues.
