Ma no no ti preoccupare!!!
La mia espressione era dovuta al fatto che di solito su percorsi mangia e bevi!! si perde qualcosa in altimetria.
Adesso ho controllato un giro simile fatto l'anno scorso e trainingcamp mi dava +130 dsl rispetto al 105.
Magari con l'ultimo agg hanno migliorato qualcosa oppure è stato modificato l'algoritmo di trainingcamp.
La mia è solo una curiosità mica mi ammazzo per i 100 metri!!
Vai tranquillo , io alla fine uso sempre la prima pagina del 105 ( veloc cad fc distanz) e poi qualche volta cambio e controllo l'altimetria, poi solo a casa controllo qualche dato.Perciò penso che resterai soddisfatto.

Mi correggo una cosa è cambiata dall'anno scorso.
Prima avevo il sensore mio adesso uso il ridesense della Giant.

Non ho notato nessuna differenza, è peccato che sia stato tolta la possibilità di salvare più profili di bici.

Oggi ho fatto caso che la velocità istantanea il mio Miocyclo la segna giusta e difatti la media di oggi era quella che mi aspettavo,ma il kilometraggio è totalmente sbagliato,quindi di conseguenza anche la media oraria. Certo che sarebbe bello se da solo con un discreto vento riuscissi davvero a fare tranquillamente 36 di media su un giro di due ore :D

Firstly, apologies for posting in English, but I do not speak Italian, and I don't think converting my post through Google Translate (which is how I read this forum) would work very well.
I am from the UK, where the Mio Cyclo is not so well known, so when I was considering buying one as my first GPS cycle computer the information on this forum was very helpful.
I bought my 105 secondhand, so had no problems experimenting with the firmware as it has no warranty. Following the advice on here, I updated to the latest Magellan V2 firmware (the unit came loaded with the Mio V1 firmware) so that I could use the Magellan Desktop software instead of MioShare. To do the firmware update I had to install the MioShare plugin anyway as the Magellan Virtual COM driver didn't recognise the device when running the Mio firmware. Once the Mio Virtual COM driver had been installed, the update went OK (though the compass seems to have become offset), and Magellan Desktop could communicate with the 105.
As an experiment, I then tried loading the Mio V2 firmware onto the 105, which also worked. I was surprised to find that the Magellan Desktop software still works with the 105, even though it is running the Mio verison of the firmware. My guess is that if you have the MioShare plugin and Magellan Desktop installed on the PC and the 105 is running the V2 firmware then both the Mio and Magellan PC software will work with it (Cod's wonderful little conversion tool also works OK with it as well).
The only issue I have with the V2 firmware is the loss of the 3 bike profiles. However, I have found that there are still 3 profiles, they have just been renamed RACE, HYBRID and MOUNTAIN instead of BIKE1, BIKE2 and BIKE3. You can edit the wheel size for each of these profiles and the firmware will save them (you can set RACE to 700C, and MOUNTAIN to 26" and changing between RACE and MOUNTAIN will then automatically change the wheel size). The only problem is that the bike weight value still needs to be set manually each time you change between the bike profiles.
If you download all the config settings from the 105 to a log file in Magellan Desktop, you can see there are some values in there which it may be possible to edit manually and then load back into the unit (if you can decode what it means):

Some of the fields obviously relate to the bike weight and wheel circumference settings, but I need to work out the relationship between the values and the 3 profiles.

Anche il mio è arrivato l'11 in italia poi il tracking si interrompe quindi dovrebbe essere fermo da qualche parte.. dovrebbe arrivare a giorni oramai.

per risolvere tutti i problemi scaricate il firmware di MAGELLAN.
l'altimetro è perfetto, rileva ogni singolo metro di dislivello, invece quello mioshare fa il conteggio ogni 10 metri consecutivi di dislivello, per cui si perde circa il 20% su un percorso vallonato.

hi, thank you for information that you shared with us. unfortunately in recent months I'm busy with the firmware of another toy
because I'm not able to use my bike on road. I think that next step will be a command line tool for linux. when I can get back on my bike I will replace mio 105 firmware with magellan firmware.. hoping to have my own firmware also on this device!

purtroppo non puoi. per poterlo fare servirebbe una base di appoggio che risponda in bluetooth al tablet, e che faccia da interfaccia tra il bluetooth e il device usb simulando da un lato i comandi del bluetooth e traducendoli dall'altra in usb seriale per parlare col dispositivo.. forse ti conviene orientarti a qualche altro genere di prodotti

Il mio lo vedo sul sito delle poste nel centro postale di zona, quindi se sono fortunato me lo portano oggi o al massimo lunedi.. l'attesa è stata piu o meno 3 settimane, di cui 2 fermo a milano.
Non sono stato contattato dalla dogana quindi presumo non ci sarà niente da pagare.. pagato 95 euro completo e spedito.
Salve a tutti, ho scoperto da poco questo forum e me ne sono innamorato subito, ho trovato un sacco di informazioni interessanti su questo prodotto che ho appena acquistato, per adesso l'ho usato solo sui rulli, purtroppo qui in Canada l'inverno quest'anno è più lungo del solito, ma per adesso mi piace e non vedo l'ora di provarlo su strada

Per linux sai se si riesce a fare qualcosa,dato che internet explorer non c'è ed il software è solo per wndows?
Per Linux so che stava pianificando qualcosa direttamente la Casa madre Mio Cyclo, ma non so dirti quando uscirà l'aggiornamento firmware (avevano pianificato Giugno, ma visti i precedenti potrebbe benissimo essere Ottobre).
Ciao ragazzi causa formattazzione pc ho perso il programmino creato da utente del forum quello x estrapolare i file del mio 100/105 chi me lo puoi mandare via mail ?
