altrimenti ho trovato un venditore che la vende direttamente a 6000 dollari...però,a tre giorni dalla conclusione dell'asta è già a 3000 euro!

trovassi una RAULER Arabesque , quella si , che mi interesserebbe ,
la MAMMA di quella che sarebbe poi diventata più famosa
bella,ma colnago è colnago.....
....ha trovato la gallina dalle uova d'oro! o l'uovo dalla gallina d'oro....scegli tu!visto il valore di questa bici, mi immagino che magari qualcuno (non competente) se ne ritrova una in garage e la regala a qualcuno o la vende per pochi euro

For what ever reason Raulers never caught on here in the states. The brothers Raul and Reclus Gozzi worked for Colnogo before starting up Rauler in 1970 and became Colnago's top contract builder until they parted ways in 1984. Raul was responsible for the pantographing and Reclus was the master frame builder. Interestingly enough I got an e-mail from a fellow last OCT he told me his company had purchased Rauler a year ago and that they were going to reintroduce the Rauler with the Ara bisque styled lugs. I have trouble calling them Arabesque styled lugs as the Raulers lugs were designed first and the bikes with these lugs preceded the Arabesque. In the years I have been riding and collecting I can say that Rauler frames are top notch for Italian frames and I have owned many Italian frames over the years. So much of the time Italian paint and chrome weren't very good quality, however Rauler paint and chrome were as good as it gets.
Pensa che io ho visto da un amico collezionista , una bici da pista anni 30 o 40 con il telaio a stella o esagonale non ricordo di preciso ..............io la penso un po come te.....ad esempio grandis (ma sicuramente anche altri) gia a fine anni '70 presento' un telaio con tubi con sezione a "stella",alla fine dopo anni c'e' voluto colnago (tanto merito a lui ci mancherebbe) per farlo diventare un must!...potremmo dire un must-er
e' buona cosa ricordare che chi e' in una posizione di forza commerciale-economica non fatica ad imporre le sue scelte,a fare diventare una grande innovazione una cosa magari ideata decenni prima (vedasi la forcella dritta)basti pensare solo a quanto puo spendere in pubblicita' una ditta come colnago!
detto questo io parlo come possessore felice di un master nonche' membro...anzi MEMBROdel club masterpiece!con tanto di divisa.....quasi
