secondo me dovranno adeguarsi su strava, riconoscendo che il device è un 510/810, come fa gc. E' sicuramente un dato che sta nel fit perché io faccio un sempre un upload manuale non passando dal plugin, e quindi è scritto sicuramente nel fit

"This is actually a design function of the Garmin itself. The issue is that on the 800/500, Garmin smoothed/filtered the data before writing it to the FIT file. With the 810/510 they use the same smoothing process to compute the ascent/descent, but they don’t write the smoothed data to the FIT file. Instead they write something that is much closer to direct readings. Hence it has more ripples, that could impact the calculation by 3rd parties - since each little up and down caused by the stray reading is now counted in that calculation."

però non ho compreso se loro, vista la diversa interpretazione dei dati contenuti nel fit, fanno uno smoothing loro o no, e magari diverso tra 800 e 810, oppure se importato raw e quel che arriva, arriva

Non lo ho capito neanche io, penso che per il momento usino quello che arriva, però dato che l'informazione sul tipo di strumento usato è dentro il file .fit credo che ci lavoreranno sopra.
