Hello Fabio,
Thank you for your email.
There is no need to clean through the rim every
time you are applying a
new tape. Little bits of the old tape are ok.
Just when you see that there is a lot of resedues you can use TUFO Rim
cleaner and easily remove it.
Very important is to use a new tape everytime you are installing a tyre.
Regards from TUFO
Jana

Subject: Replacing a tubolar mounted with Tufo tape
Good day,
A question often found on bike forums is if the thin film of adhesive
which normally rest on the wheel after removing the old tubolar and tape
may be left in place when applying the new tape or if have to be
completely removed with solvents, air dryer etc..
When replacing the tyre have to be effected on the road after a flat, it
may be impossible to completely remove this film which has nearly no
thickness mostly if compared whith conventional glue residues.
Thanks a lot for your reply
Cheers
