Over the last few months we've been working hard to address the accuracy and robustness issues that came up in our tests last August and September. We have completed revision of our processing algorithm, and we have refined the design of some mechanical parts to improve robustness. The first of these new units are just rolling off our manufacturer's production line as I type this, and next week those units will go into a short field test to confirm that everything is ok. After that the production process will get going in earnest to make our first full batch of Zone DPMX power meters.
The important information from your point of view is that we plan to begin sending purchase invitations in the middle of February, and to begin deliveries in April. The rate at which we will be able to deliver will be limited by our production rate, so it will take some time to clear our pre-order list.
I'm sure you want to know when we will get to you, but that is hard to predict. We will work our way down the pre-order list from the top, so how long it will take to get to you depends on where you are on the list and on how many ahead of you decide to purchase. All I can say is that if your pre-order reference number is below about 00250 then you are likely to be in the first batch.
